The contest, which will be sponsored by Aacer Flooring (Peshtigo, Wis.), will be held in conjunction with the company’s second-annual Nailer Day event, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Philly Floor Store’s showroom in Conshohocken, Pa. The winner—the fastest to install 18 square feet—will take home a grand prize of $500 cash. Here is a video from last year’s event, during which Leon Margarite of Walsh Hardwood Floors (Broomall, Pa.) was crowned champion:

Attendees will also have a shot at special pricing and giveaways, including the PowerPalm nailer from Powernail Company Inc. (Lake Zurich, Ill.). Reps from Bostitch, Primatech, Aacer, Basic Coatings, Dura Seal, Century Flooring, Festool and Powernail will be there to demo products, and Philly Floor Store will repair nailers during the event without charging for labor.

Aacer Flooring just completed a very busy and productive week in Las Vegas Nevada at the 2012 Surafces Show. The show was well attended by current and prospective customers of Aacers Northern Hardwood flooring line. Aacers sales team used the opportunity to help customers with questions about products and programs only Aacer offers. The team received many complements on the fantastic Aacer product display at the show, thank you to all those that attended and spent time with us.

During snowy and foggy week in January, Aacer Flooring and Mathusek, Inc. got together for installation school!  On January 15th, Aacer’s Technical Director Jason Nieminski and MFMA Director Dan Heney gave presentations for more than 20 employees of Mathusek, Inc. in preparation for testing the next day.  The results?  Mathusek is (once again) a certified dealer by Aacer and the MFMA…but this time, a much larger percentage of their employees are certified. www.mathusek.com

Many congrats to all who attended our classes, and thanks to Mathusek, Inc. for being such a great customer.  We are looking forward to even bigger and better things in 2012!
