Hundreds of California High School Athletic Directors recently converged upon Reno, NV for the 45th annual California State Athletic Directors Association Conference. A regular exhibitor at the event, Aacer was also joined by our certified contracting partner from Northern California, Boberg Hardwood Floors www.boberghardwoodfloors.com

Aacer enjoyed the networking opportunities with the various Athletic Directors and had a great time participating in the annual CSADA Golf Tournament. We are already looking forward to next year’s event in San Diego.

Boise, ID was the recent host of the 2013 Idaho Athletic Administrators Association 23rd Annual State Conference. Over 100 Idaho Athletic Directors were in attendance for the show. Aacer Flooring sponsored Philadelphia Floors Stores 3rd annual Nailer Day on March 21st, 2013. The event had a great turn out once again. Contractors drove from as far as 2 hours from the location to take a shot at the $500 cash prize. The contest is open to any contractor that wants to participate and they have to rack out and nail down a bundle of 2 ¼” Aacer red oak select and better. The fastest time wins the cash! Many vendors attended the event and the energy level was high all day. There were many contractors that beat last year’s winning time which kept the excitement going. The overall comments on the Aacer product being nailed down was great milling and extremely long lengths. Aacer will sponsor next years event once again and everyone is expecting a great turn out. Nailer day has started to gain some national recognition so the 2014 event has already been scheduled for March 20th. Aacer Flooring Congratulates NCAA Final Four Men’s Champions Louisville Cardinals

The Louisville Cardinals defeated the Michigan Wolverines, 82-76, to win the NCAA Division I men’s basketball championship Monday night in Atlanta. The showdown was one for the ages, with a dazzling array of airborne theatrics, jaw-dropping dunks and 3-pointers from well behind the line.

Louisville Head Coach Rick Pitino said his team was able to top the Wolverines’ “absolutely incredible” performance “probably because I have the 13 toughest guys I’ve ever coached.” Aacer Flooring is proud to be the wood sports floor of choice which the Cardinals practice on at the Yum Training Center in Louisville, KY. Aacer Sports Flooring Makes East Coast Trade Show Run

Over the last month, Aacer Sports Flooring joined up with a few great partners from our dealer network to offer our services to various groups throughout the East Coast. In Charleston, SC, I was joined by Jose Guidera from The Flooring Connection at the South Carolina Athletic Directors Association show. In Saratoga Springs, it was a group effort with Warren Mathusek of Mathusek, Inc. and Ed Knight from Cavalier Flooring for the New York State Athletic Administrators Association show. After that, it was on to Hershey, PA to join Matt Sheafer from Miller Flooring at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Directors Association show. The following week, Mathusek joined me in Atlantic City, NJ for the Directors of Athletics Association of New Jersey show. Then from there, it was across the state of Pennsylvania on the Penna Turnpike to join Bill Miller and Matt Sheafer at the Pennslyvania Association of School Business Officials show in Pittsburgh, PA. It was a great “show”ing by the Aacer team all across the region in March!

There was over 8,500 SF of Taraflex vinyl sheet torn out over an old Granwood product at the G.T. Bray Recreation Facility in Brandenton, FL. The Manatee County was very dissatisfied with their vinyl sheet good and wanted to upgrade to a wood floor system. They felt wood flooring was the best product for their members to play on. AacerChannel™ VLP HC was chosen because of it high performance qualities and low profile height. The site conditions did not allow for a replacement floor that was going to rise to over all floor profile too much.
