We are extremely excited to announce our expansion plans of bringing a prefinished line in-house. This addition will increase our manufacturing footprint from 300,000 sq ft to 315,000 sq ft. Groundbreaking is scheduled to start July 2015 with full production reached January 2016.
For several years, we’ve partnered with an outside vendor for our prefinishing work. Bringing a Prefinished Line on-site has been a long-term goal of Aacer. It just makes sense. The timing is right – we have owners who recognize the importance of investing in the company along with a dedicated and supportive customer base. We view this capital investment as a win-win for all – our customers, community and the company.
Having the prefinished line housed in Peshtigo will give us greater control over quality, color and lead-times. The collection of these features will give us a competitive edge in the marketplace.
