Who knew that a new lumber stacking machine could be so exciting? Aacer recently added a new line for stacking lumber. Before this upgrade, the process was very labor intensive. The work was done in our lumber yard (sometimes in inclement weather) and required our employees to lift and handle each board individually. Now the bulk of that heavy work is done by machine – making the work environment safer and less strenuous for our employees.
In addition to better working conditions and safety, this machine also increases our efficiency. We can now output twice as much lumber in ten minutes compared to what it took one person to do in 1 hr.
