Xavier University, New Orleans LA has a new Convocation Academic Center. This 21,000 square foot Anchored PowerSleeper™ SE Wood Sports Floor System by Aacer Flooring was installed by Sports Unlimited of Stillwater, Oklahoma. This new facility includes a 4,500-seat arena designed for athletic and other large-scale events. It is the home of Xavier men’s and women’s basketball and the women’s volleyball. This brand new Academic Center replaces “The Barn” a 1,300 seat gymnasium built in 1937. It is a tremendous upgrade and a big boost in recruiting for the university.
